Algiers International Fair 2026: Opportunity to Boost Algeria–Pakistan Economic Cooperation

 

Islamabad, April 15, 2026(Kamran Raja):The Government of Algeria will host the 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair from June 22 to 27, 2026, in Algiers. The event will be held under the high patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, with the Spain participating as the guest of honor.

The Embassy of Algeria in Islamabad has formally invited Pakistani trade and investment institutions to take part in this major international exhibition. Invitations have been extended to key organizations including the Ministry of Commerce, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and various chambers of commerce and industry across the country.

The Algiers International Fair is regarded as one of the largest economic exhibitions in Africa and the Arab world, offering a significant platform for enhancing trade ties, investment opportunities, and industrial partnerships between Pakistan and Algeria.

The previous edition in 2025 witnessed remarkable participation, with 684 companies taking part, including 145 international firms from 31 countries highlighting the growing global importance of the event.

Pakistani companies interested in participating in the 2026 edition are encouraged to register through the official portal and engage in this opportunity to explore new markets, establish business linkages, and strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
