Saudi Arabia Announces Fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025: “From Makkah to the World” to Showcase Innovation and Heritage

Jeddah, November 8, 2025(Kamran Raja): The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), held a press briefing today to unveil details of the upcoming Fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, set to take place in Jeddah from November 9 to 12 under the theme “From Makkah to the World.”

Spanning an area of 60,000 square meters and encompassing 18 Hajj-related sectors, this year’s event is expected to welcome over 150,000 visitors, surpassing last year’s 120,000 attendees. The conference will feature 143 specialized sessions, 225 speakers, 270 exhibitors, and 2,400 trainees from around the world.

Speaking at the briefing, Dr. Ghassan Alnwaimi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, emphasized that the conference serves as a vital global platform for exchanging expertise and advancing services for pilgrims. He noted that the event seeks to integrate technology, infrastructure, and human resources in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. A key attraction this year will be the “Innovation Zone,” showcasing advancements in AI, sustainable engineering, and crowd management technologies to shape the future of Hajj and Umrah services.

For the first time, Darah will enrich the conference’s scientific and cultural program. Its spokesperson, Sultan Al-Awairdi, announced the inclusion of the History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques Forum, which will feature researchers presenting historical insights and exploring the role of modern technology in documenting the evolution of Hajj.

Additionally, the “100 Years of Care for the Two Holy Mosques” exhibition will offer visitors a rich historical journey through rare documents, photographs, and artifacts, underscoring the Kingdom’s enduring commitment to preserving and celebrating its Islamic heritage.

The Fifth Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s leadership in serving pilgrims and shaping the future of Hajj and Umrah through innovation, research, and cultural stewardship.
