Islamabad, October 1, 2025(Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the leadership and the brotherly people of the People’s Republic of China on the occasion of its 76th National Day. In his message, the Prime Minister said that this day is not only a reminder of China’s remarkable national journey, but also an acknowledgment of the role of a great nation in achieving progress, stability, and promoting peace at the global level. He said that under the visionary and exemplary leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has achieved milestones of development and prosperity that serve as a shining example for the world.
The Prime Minister described Pakistan-China friendship as an everlasting and unbreakable bond that has grown stronger with the passage of time. He stated that this relationship, founded on mutual trust, sacrifice, and sincerity, is a guarantee of peace, development, and prosperity for future generations. Terming his recent visit to China as extremely useful and productive, the Prime Minister said that during the visit, historic milestones were achieved in Pakistan-China bilateral relations, including agreements for multi-billion-dollar investments during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and the B2B Conference.
He further said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a highly significant joint economic project of the two countries which has now entered its second phase. The Prime Minister affirmed that Pakistan takes pride in its brotherly relations with China and expressed confidence that the two countries will take their friendship and partnership to new heights.
