IMF condition, decision to take 335 billion annual surcharges from electricity consumersIt is decided to charge 335 billion rupees per year from electricity consumers. This decision was approved by the ECC. Under this increase, electricity consumers will be charged 3 rupees 82 paise per unit head charge.This amount will be spent on payment to power generation companies. The surcharge will remain applicable till the dues are paid to the government.
