Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M) paid a visit to Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) today to attend the HAIDER tank (Pilot Project) launch ceremony.
The People's Republic of China's ambassador, important representatives of the Chinese state corporation NORINCO, high ranking officials from the Pakistan Army and Government of Pakistan, and a number of HIT military and civilian officials attended the ceremony. HIT introduced its new Tank HAIDER at the event. This tank was made in Pakistan in partnership with NORINCO China and several companies in the country.
