Rawalpindi – 22 August 2025(Kamran Raja): Foreign Minister of China, H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, during his visit to Pakistan, called on Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ at Islamabad today. Matters about regional security, counter-terrorism, and issues of mutual interest were discussed. Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and enhance coordination at regional and international forums. The Chinese Foreign Minister reiterated China’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and socio-economic development.
