British Council, FCDO, and KP Government Launch ‘ILMpact’ to Educate 80,000 Marginalised Children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar, 31 July 2025(Ghufran): The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the British Council and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), has officially launched ILMpact, a transformative education programme aimed at reaching more than 80,000 marginalised children across the province. ILMpact is designed to tackle long-standing educational inequalities in some of the most underserved regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The programme will prioritise access to quality education for girls, out-of-school children, minorities, and children with disabilities—groups that have traditionally faced significant barriers due to poverty, insufficient infrastructure, and deep-rooted social and cultural challenges.
