ISLAMABAD, 20 August 2026 (News Desk): The ongoing speculation surrounding Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja has taken a new turn, with Sunita reportedly withdrawing the divorce case she had filed against her husband. Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, who tied the knot in 1987, have two children, daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja. According to Indian media reports, Sunita Ahuja visited Mumbai’s Bandra Family Court along with her son Yashvardhan Ahuja. Her appearance at the court once again fueled speculation about the couple’s relationship. When paparazzi members asked Sunita about the reason for her visit as she left the court, she reportedly responded humorously that she had come to “celebrate a birthday.” Following Sunita’s appearance at the court, Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha dismissed speculation about problems between the couple and confirmed that Sunita had withdrawn the divorce case. Speaking to the Indian newspaper Hindustan Times City, Shashi Sinha said there was no reason for people to worry, adding that Sunita had withdrawn her case and that it was “a reason to be happy.” He further explained that Sunita’s apparently angry expression outside the court may have led people to assume that something was wrong. However, he maintained that everything is now fine between the couple. The development has brought a new twist to months of speculation surrounding alleged differences between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja.
