RAWALPINDI, 23 October, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces have foiled an attempted attack on an unoccupied construction company camp in Gwadar, killing seven militants, according to security sources. The sources said security forces responded promptly to the attempted assault by terrorists belonging to Fitna al Hindustan, thwarting their attempt to target the vacant camp. They added that additional militants had been surrounded by security forces in the area. A clearance operation is underway to secure the site, search for remaining militants and detect and neutralise any improvised explosive devices (IEDs). Security forces continue operations to eliminate the threat and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.
