Islamabad, October 8 (Kamran Raja): A high-level Saudi trade delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud attended the Saudi–Pakistan Joint Business Council meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The session focused on increasing trade and investment between the two countries, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and Pakistan’s investment-led growth strategy.
The meeting was organized with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the Ministry of Commerce (Pakistan). The Saudi delegation included senior business leaders from key sectors such as energy, minerals, agriculture, livestock, construction, infrastructure, tourism, and real estate. Pakistani business leaders and private companies also participated.
Pakistani ministers and officials briefed the delegation on investment policies, economic reforms, and opportunities in priority sectors. They assured the Saudi side of transparent and investor-friendly regulations.
Prince Mansour praised Pakistan’s reform measures and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to strengthening economic cooperation. He noted Pakistan’s strong potential in energy, minerals, agriculture, technology, tourism, and real estate.
During the visit, the delegation will also travel to Karachi and Lahore to meet provincial leaders and major business groups. These meetings aim to explore joint ventures and public–private partnership projects.
The visit marks an important step in aligning Pakistan’s investment priorities with Saudi Vision 2030 and in building a long-term, private sector–driven economic partnership.
