Islamabad, 13 August 2026(Kamran Raja):Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan Albert P. Khorev has extended his warmest and heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day.
In his message, Ambassador Khorev said the national day was a testament to the courage, determination and strong spirit of the Pakistani people, noting that over the decades Pakistan had pursued its own path of development, guided by the ideals and aspirations of its founding fathers.
The Russian envoy highlighted the traditionally friendly and mutually respectful relations between Russia and Pakistan, saying the two countries shared a long history of cooperation and maintained close and constructive contacts across various fields.
“I am confident that together we will continue to strengthen mutual understanding and expand our partnership for the benefit of our two nations,” he said.
Ambassador Khorev described Independence Day as a day of Pakistani national pride, joy and celebration and expressed his hope that peace, stability and prosperity would prevail throughout the country.
He wished the people of Pakistan good health, success and prosperity and concluded his message with prayers for the country and its hardworking people.
“May God bless Pakistan and its hard-working people,” the ambassador said, adding: “Pakistan Zindabad! Rus-Pak Dosti Paindabad!”
