Renowned analyst Lt Gen Retired Amjad Shoaib was arrested from his residence in Islamabad. Islamabad Police has confirmed his arrest and said that a case has been registered against Amjad Shoaib in Ramna police station.

According to the police, they will be produced in the court in the morning and requested for remand. This case against Amjad Shoaib is based on his TV interview. The case has been registered by Magistrate Owais Khan in which it is alleged that Amjad Shoaib tried to create public agitation.
