Islamabad 11 September 2025(Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif today departed for a one-day visit to Doha to express solidarity with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, the Qatari royal family, and the brotherly people of Qatar in the wake of Israeli aggression against Qatar. The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi. During his stay in Doha, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with His Highness the Amir of Qatar. He will convey Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Israel’s unprovoked aggression and blatant violations of international law, and reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Qatar and its people.
The Prime Minister will underscore that Pakistan and Qatar enjoy deep-rooted, historic and brotherly relations founded on shared faith and common values. He will reiterate that Pakistan has always stood by Qatar in difficult times and will continue to do so. The two leaders will also exchange views on Israel’s ongoing aggression against various countries in the region and deliberate on joint efforts for peace and stability in the Middle East.
