Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expresses regret over martyrdom of pilgrims in Makkah
Prime Minister prayed for the families of pilgrims Sabr Jameel. The Prime Minister contacted Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq regarding the current situation of pilgrims in Makkah.
Prime Minister said Arrangements should be made to bring the dead bodies of martyred pilgrims to Pakistan. Prime Minister’s instructions to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Pakistani embassy officials to provide all facilities to the pilgrims.
Provision of all medical facilities should be ensured for pilgrims admitted in hospitals, Prime Minister’s directive.
