Islamabad, July 31, 2026 (Ghufran): The Government of Pakistan welcomes the decision of the Lloyd’s Market Association’s Joint War Committee (JWC) to remove Pakistan from its Listed Areas for war risk insurance. This significant development marks an important milestone and reflects the growing confidence of the international community in Pakistan’s improving security environment and economic outlook. The achievement is the result of the concerted efforts of the Government of Pakistan, effectively coordinated through the High Commission of Pakistan in London.
The Government also expresses its appreciation to the Lloyd’s Market Association for its constructive engagement and cooperation throughout the review process.
