
LEEDS, 17 August, 2026 (Ghufran) — The Pakistan cricket team has arrived in Leeds for the upcoming Test series against England. The national team is scheduled to hold a practice session at Headingley Cricket Ground on Monday at 9:30 a.m. as preparations continue for the opening Test. The three-match Test series, Pakistan’s first in England since 2020, will begin on August 19, with the first Test scheduled to be played at Headingley in Leeds until August 23. The second Test will be held at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground from August 27 to 31, while the third and final Test is scheduled to take place at Edgbaston in Birmingham from September 9 to 13.Pakistan enter the series with confidence after drawing their recent two-match Test series against the West Indies 1-1. The national side also secured its first away Test victory since July 2023 during that series.The Green Shirts will now look to build on that momentum as they begin their challenging Test campaign against England on English soil.
