
Rawalpindi, 11 December 2025(Kamran Raja): Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China are conducting the joint counterterrorism exercise Warrior-IX from 28 November to 14 December 2025. The two-week exercise aims to enhance interoperability and further strengthen military-to-military cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The Distinguished Visitors Day (DVD) ceremony was held at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC), Pabbi, on 11 December 2025. His Excellency Mr. Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by senior dignitaries from China. The Chief of General Staff, Pakistan Army, attended the ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
During the visit, the honourable guests were briefed on the scope, objectives, and conduct of the joint exercise. They also witnessed a series of counterterrorism drills and expressed appreciation for the high standards of professionalism, operational competence, and exemplary morale displayed by the participating troops from both sides.
The exercise underscores the strong defence partnership between Pakistan and China and reaffirms the commitment of both Armed Forces to working together for regional peace, stability, and security.
