Islamabad, 8 April 2026(Kamran Raja): The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. Jiang Zaidong, this afternoon. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister underscored Pakistan’s continued commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as the key pathways to achieving lasting peace and stability in the Middle East and West Asia.
Ambassador Jiang Zaidong conveyed the deep appreciation of the Chinese government for Pakistan’s constructive and proactive role in advancing peace and security in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Both sides expressed the hope that ongoing diplomatic efforts would contribute to durable peace and stability in the region, in the broader interest of all parties involved.
