Pak-China Parliamentary Friendship Group met with a Pakistani delegation at the Parliament House.

ISLAMABAD, 28 October 2025(Kamran Raja): The Pak-China Parliamentary Friendship Group met with a Pakistani delegation at the Parliament House. The Pakistani delegation was led by Senator Sherry Rehman.Pak-China relations, future of CPEC and sustainable development goals were discussed in detail during the meeting. Both sides agreed to promote economic cooperation, regional stability and mutual trust between the two countries. The Chinese delegation termed the role of CPEC in Pakistan’s socio-economic development as a historic milestone.

Pakistan and China agree to expedite implementation of MoU to combat climate change. Both countries commit to enhance cooperation in green energy, water management and climate adaptation. Both sides emphasize the need for joint investments in education, health and human development projects. The meeting agreed on joint efforts to establish peace, development and sustainable economy in the region. Pakistan, Chinese delegation vows to strengthen public and parliamentary contacts.
