ISLAMABAD, 23 October 2026(Kamran Raja): The Cyber Crime Reporting Centre of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Islamabad, has arrested a four-member gang allegedly involved in child exploitation and online grooming, according to an NCCIA spokesperson.
During the operation, authorities recovered material depicting the sexual exploitation of local minor children from the possession of the accused, the spokesperson said.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of Muhammad Shoaib Khan, Additional Director, NCCIA Islamabad Zone.
The Additional Director stated that no leniency would be shown to individuals involved in child exploitation and online grooming. He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to protecting children and preventing cybercrime.
The NCCIA reiterated its resolve to take effective action against individuals involved in online crimes targeting children and to strengthen efforts to ensure a safer digital environment.
