Islamabad Police has advise to Lawyers and journalists
Checking is being done for admission in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, lawyers and journalists should identify themselves before entering the Supreme Court. The permission of the Supreme Court administration is mandatory for entering the Supreme Court. There is no restriction on the entry of lawyers.
Lawyers are requested not to block the roads. And don’t park in front of the Supreme Court, it affects the traffic. There are threats of terrorism in Islamabad; there is a fear of entry of malicious elements in the clothes of lawyers. Lawyers are requested to keep an eye out for unknown persons in lawyer’s clothes around them. Police personnel should show courtesy during checking. There is no restriction on lawyers coming to the Supreme Court, keep in mind the dignity of the Supreme Court. Entry into the court premises is subject to the permission of the Registrar Supreme Court. Those entering the Supreme Court should be patient and cooperate with the police; citizens should report any suspicious activity on 15.
