
Islamabad, 15 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on Tuesday to review Pakistan’s programme for the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The Foreign Secretary and Special Secretary (UN) briefed the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the proposed programme, including high-level engagements, bilateral meetings and other key engagements on the sidelines of the UNGA session.Ishaq Dar reviewed the proposed programme and provided guidance regarding its priorities and arrangements. He directed that close coordination and full readiness be ensured for Pakistan’s active and effective engagement during the high-level session.
