Tehran, 1 August 2026(Kamran Raja) : Iran has warned that any military action by the United States or Israel against its territory would receive a strong and comprehensive response, stating that Tehran’s reaction would not remain limited to conventional targets. A senior commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, cautioned that any act of aggression or miscalculation would have serious consequences. He stated that the era of carrying out attacks and escaping without repercussions had ended.
According to Iranian media reports, Major General Abdollahi said that Israel’s military installations, U.S. regional facilities, and strategic infrastructure could become targets in response to any attack. He further claimed that Iran possesses the capabilities, determination, and comprehensive plans necessary to respond to potential threats.The Iranian commander warned the United States and its allies against taking actions based on incorrect assessments, saying that any hostile move would result in consequences.
The statement comes amid reports in U.S. media regarding possible plans for further strikes against Iran, including potential targeting of energy infrastructure. Iranian officials have repeatedly stated that any attack on their country would be met with a decisive response. Iran has emphasized that its defense strategy is aimed at safeguarding national sovereignty and deterring external aggression.
