IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan issued orders to conduct security audit across the district. Security checking was increased at all important public and private, especially police installations.
Instruct all Zonal SPs, SDPOs, SHOs to check duty in their own areas. Supervise all duties directed to CP Security, Headquarters, CPO Operations and CPO Safe City.

SSP CTD, CTO also instructed to supervise all duties. At all duty points, jawans will be diligent in full protective uniform. Patrols were also increased around all important buildings. Action will be taken against concerned officers for negligence in security at any place. Instructions to tighten checking at the entrances and exits of the city.

Due to traffic flow and security arrangements at F-Six Police Service Center, the timings of Police Service Center will be changed. The change in timings will be announced later. Carry your identity documents with you during the city travel. Cooperate with city police during checking.
