Hajj 2027 Process Fully Digitized, Applications and Payments to Be Completed Online

ISLAMABAD, August 10, 2026 (Nosheen): Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has announced that the entire Hajj 2027 process has been digitized end-to-end on the special directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the minister said pilgrims would be able to complete their Hajj applications and payments within minutes from the comfort of their homes through the Pak Hajj mobile application and digital portal. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said around 400,000 pre-registered pilgrims had entered the final stage of the Hajj application process. He added that the digital system would save pilgrims from long queues, unnecessary travel and additional expenses. According to the minister, three digital payment channels have been introduced to facilitate pilgrims in paying their Hajj dues from home. Under the government’s Hajj Scheme 2027, a total of 107,526 seats have been allocated, while the 40-day Hajj package has been fixed at Rs1.2 million.The minister said the digitization of the Hajj process was aimed at making the pilgrimage arrangements more convenient, transparent and accessible for Pakistani pilgrims.
