Rawalpindi, 15 March 2026(Kamran Raja): Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation on 15 March 2026 in Lakki Marwat District on the reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khwarij. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorist hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, five Khwarij were killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored Khwarij, who had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khwarij present in the area. Security Forces of Pakistan, in coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies, remain determined to continue the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, to completely eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
