Explosion near Lucky Marwat, Thana Sadar, 4 officials including DSP martyred
4 officials including DSP Iqbal Mohmand were martyred as a result of an explosion near police station Sadar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district Lakki Marwat. According to the police, the DSP had gone to the spot on the information of the terrorist attack on Sadar police station and his car was hit by an explosive device explosion near Pirwala Mor. As a result of the explosion, 4 officials including DSP Iqbal Mohmand were martyred and 6 were injured.
According to the police spokesperson, among the martyred officers are Karamat, Waqar, Ali Marjan, while the injured include Head Constable Farooq, Constable Gultiaz, Asghar, Amanatullah, Arif, and Sardar Ali. The police say that the terrorists had earlier attacked Sadar police station, the terrorists escaped after an exchange of fire with the police. According to the spokesperson of the police, a heavy police force has arrived and the search operation is going on in the area.
