LONDON, 17 September, 2026 (Nosheen): Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has made history by becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform as a headline act at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium. The milestone was achieved during his ongoing ‘Aura World Tour’, which is continuing across various cities in the UK and Europe. During his Wembley performance, Diljit also announced that he will perform at India’s Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 21, 2026. His UK leg will continue with performances in Birmingham on September 18 and Manchester on September 20. Earlier, Diljit completed a successful North American tour, including two sold-out concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where he also became the first Punjabi artist to perform as a headline act. His 15-show North American tour sold more than 225,000 tickets and generated over $32 million in revenue. Diljit’s international achievements also include becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform as a headline act at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2023 and the first Indian artist to perform on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ in 2024. His continued performances on major international stages have further increased the global recognition of Punjabi music and culture.
