Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Calls on President of Kazakhstan

Islamabad, 4 February 2026(Ghufran): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar today called on the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who is on a two-day official visit to Pakistan. Welcoming President Tokayev to Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister conveyed warm greetings from the President, the Prime Minister, the Government, and the people of Pakistan. He underscored Pakistan’s appreciation for the growing momentum of high-level political exchanges between the two countries.

Senator Dar reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan and Kazakhstan to further expand bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and people-to-people domains. He emphasized the importance of working closely together to promote durable peace, stability, and development in the region. Both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and agreed to continue strengthening engagement at all levels to realize the full potential of Pakistan–Kazakhstan partnership.
