Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Visit Saudi Arabia for OIC Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting

Islamabad, 18 August 2025(Kamran Raja): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, will undertake an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on August 25, 2025, to participate in the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers. The meeting, to be held in Jeddah, will deliberate on the grave situation in Palestine in the backdrop of ongoing atrocities and genocide against the Palestinian people.

During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with participating leaders and counterparts on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen cooperation among OIC member states. Pakistan remains committed to supporting the just cause of the Palestinian people and to working with the OIC and the international community for peace, justice, and the protection of fundamental rights.
