Rawalpindi, 03 December 2025(Kamran Raja): Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani, Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF), called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), at General Headquarters (GHQ) today.
During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security, and prospects for further enhancing bilateral defence cooperation. The COAS and the visiting dignitary reiterated their commitment to strengthening the longstanding and brotherly relations between the Armed Forces of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir expressed satisfaction over the robust defence collaboration between the two countries and underscored the need for sustained cooperation in training, capacity building, and intelligence sharing. Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Saud Al-Johani acknowledged the professionalism of the Pakistan Army and appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in promoting regional peace and stability.
Upon arrival at GHQ, the Commander RSLF was presented with a Guard of Honour.
