Chinese Business Delegation Visits FPCCI President’s Office to Enhance Industrial Cooperation

October 30, 2025(Kamran Raja): A Chinese business delegation from the China-Pakistan Production Equipment Procurement Organization Committee visited the President’s Office of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and held a meeting with FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh and other senior officials of the Federation. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation between Pakistan and China and agreed to enhance collaboration in the procurement of Chinese production equipment and industrial development. Speaking on the occasion, FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized that the industrial sector plays a pivotal role in the economic growth of any country. He noted that Pakistan and China have immense potential to further deepen cooperation in the industrial domain.

President Sheikh underscored that under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework, both countries should work towards establishing joint industrial zones, which would serve as engines of shared prosperity. He further stated that with the help of China’s modern technology, Pakistan could emerge as an economic hub of the region. Atif Ikram Sheikh reaffirmed that Pakistan is committed to promoting fraternal relations with China based on mutual respect, trust, and shared interests. The meeting was also attended by Chairman Capital Office FPCCI, Karim Aziz Malik, Chairman Coordination FPCCI, Malik Sohail, and other senior members of the Federation.

The Chinese delegation included Mr. Yao River, Chairman of Shaanxi Qianhai Emergency Industry, Mr. Yong Yang Peng, Chairman of Ningxia Emergency Industry Group, Mr. Liu Zhigang, General Manager, and other representatives.
