Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Meets Chinese Construction and BRI Delegations in Shanghai

Shanghai, September 16(Kamran Raja): Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held meetings in Shanghai with senior representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), China’s largest construction company, and advisors from the Belt and Road Information Industry Union. The CSCEC delegation included Mr. Ge Liang, General Manager; Mr. Hong Xiao, Assistant General Manager; and Ms. Wu Mingying, Secretary. The Belt and Road Information Industry Union delegation was led by Advisor Mr. Song Ling Bin, Chief Consultant Mr. Bei Qi, and Consultant Ms. Bei Lin.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was briefed on key projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), including developments within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The delegations also provided detailed presentations on opportunities in digital and green infrastructure investment. Chairman Bilawal lauded the global expertise and capabilities of CSCEC in executing world-class infrastructure projects and welcomed greater collaboration in Pakistan, particularly under the framework of CPEC.

He was accompanied in the meetings by senior members of the Sindh Government, including Minister for Information and Transport Mr. Sharjeel Inam Memon and Minister for Energy Mr. Nasir Shah.
