BEIRUT, 06 September, 2026 (Ghufran) – The Israeli military said it was striking southern Lebanon early on Sunday in retaliation for Hezbollah firing two drones at Israeli soldiers stationed in an area that Israel has declared a security zone. The Israeli military had issued an evacuation warning to people near a building in the town of Arab Salim in southern Lebanon, saying the site was being used by Hezbollah and would be targeted.
