The Charter of the Humanitarian Trust Fund for Afghanistan was signed today by the Secretary General, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), HE Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, and President, Islamic Development Bank, HE Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jasser, in the presence of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi. The Government of Pakistan has appointed Air Marshal Muhammad Zahid Mahmood as Vice Chief of the Air Staff.Air Marshal Muhammad Zahid Mahmood was commissioned in GD (P) Branch of Pakistan Air Force in April, 1987. During his illustrious career, he has commanded Combat Commanders' School and an operational air base. Pakistani sailors dominated the medal table as curtains were drawn on the 3rd Chief of the Air Staff International Open Sailing Championship-2022 being held at PAF Yacht Club, Karachi.
