 Islamabad, 1 October, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Pakistan has said that security forces killed 22 terrorists in precision strikes targeting two militant hideouts at separate locations in Afghanistan. The Ministry of Information confirmed that the strikes targeted hideouts of militants belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition at the sites was also destroyed. The committee reviewed progress on wheat import arrangements and directed the Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) to proceed with the acceptance of the lowest bid or bids for procuring the remaining 185,000 metric tons of Sindh’s wheat requirement.
