A huge number of suicide bombers get in to security compound in Dera Islamil Khan
A powerful explosion followed by a attackers entering a security compound in the Draban area of Dera Ismail Khan District, to the South of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan has resulted in “multiple casualties” from the security forces and the adjacent police station, all attackers have been killed and subsequent search operation is under way, official sources told. The initial explosion was caused by a vehicle full of explosives around 3:30 AM in the morning. There was presence of a large number of troops, the source confirmed.
At a time when Pakistan’s relationship with the neighbouring Afghan Taliban has reached an all-time low and the Military Chief is in the United States, one of the deadliest attack in Pakistan’s recent history since August 15, 2021 occurs. The incident has been claimed by the TJP, an organisation that has previously organised militants from Pakistan and Afghanistan for operations within Pakistan.
