Apex Committee meeting of the National Action Plan was held today

A meeting of the Apex Committee of the National Action Plan was held today under the chairmanship of the Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan. In this meeting, the Chief of Army Staff, the relevant federal ministers, the provincial chief ministers and the heads of all the civil and military agencies under the same roof. There were below. The participants made a comprehensive assessment of the country’s internal security situation so that possible challenges can be dealt with in a sustainable manner. Despite all the difficulties, the participants resolved to ensure the implementation of the Constitution and the law as per the expectations of the people.

Today’s key decisions include the withdrawal of illegal aliens residing in Pakistan, the formalization of border movement procedures (in which movement across the border will be permitted only on passports and visas) and illegal immigration. These include cracking down on the trade and property of foreigners. A task force has been formed under the Ministry of Home Affairs to investigate fake identity cards, businesses and properties to crack down on illegal identity cards and properties. The Forum reiterated the need to further enhance and strengthen ongoing operations against the growing illegal activities (including drug trafficking, hoarding, food and currency smuggling, illegal remittances and power theft).

The forum highlighted that the use of force is the sole jurisdiction of the state and no person or group will be allowed to use coercive force. There is absolutely no place for any political armed group or organization in the country and those involved in such activities will be dealt with severely. It was also highlighted that Islam is a religion of peace and the state will not allow anyone to achieve political goals by interpreting the religion in their own way. minority rights and religious freedom; Islam is part of the constitution of Pakistan and the state will ensure it.

The forum stressed that those spreading propaganda and misinformation should be dealt with strictly under cyber laws. The participants were informed that technical procedures are being devised for the awareness and implementation of the laws, which are being made keeping in mind the observance of the law and the convenience of the people.

In the end, the forum reiterated its commitment that the principles of faith, unity and order will be followed in the true sense and tireless efforts will be continued for the development of the country.
