The sources said militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan attempted to strike a checkpost in the Albat area using low-flying drones. However, security personnel responded swiftly and effectively, destroying all five drones and preventing the attack. No casualties or damage to property were reported in the incident. Security sources said the timely action by security personnel thwarted the hostile attempt and ensured the safety of the installation. They reaffirmed the security forces’ determination to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan and maintain peace and stability throughout the province. Meanwhile, in a separate incident a day earlier, security forces killed a suspected militant during an intelligence-based operation in the Minaz area of Kech district under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. According to security sources, the operation was launched after militants allegedly attempted to establish a blockade while taking two women with them. Troops pursued the suspects as they tried to escape, triggering an exchange of fire in which one militant was killed. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the deceased, the sources added. Following the encounter, security forces initiated a clearance operation in the area to search for any other militants who might be present. Security personnel remain committed to preventing terrorist activities and ensuring lasting peace and security in Balochistan.
