Islamabad, 23 October 2026(Kamran Raja): Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, held an important meeting with the IT Complaint Management System and Helpline 1799 teams to review the performance of the cybercrime reporting mechanism and complaint-handling procedures.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of the cybercrime reporting system, complaint resolution procedures, and the overall performance of Helpline 1799.
DG NCCIA Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi emphasized the need to ensure the prompt and transparent resolution of citizens’ complaints. He directed that the reporting system be further modernized and made more public-friendly to facilitate victims and ensure the timely provision of relief.
He underscored the importance of improving the efficiency of complaint management services and strengthening public facilitation to ensure a more responsive and effective cybercrime reporting mechanism.
