
Rawalpindi,11 October, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan have foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan during a joint operation under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, according to security sources. The sources said security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Pishin district, disrupting a plan to transport ammunition from Afghanistan. During a raid on a warehouse in the Saranan area of Pishin, the forces intercepted a vehicle loaded with weapons and ammunition. The recovered weapons included three rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, four light machine guns, one machine gun, hand grenades, rockets and a large quantity of ammunition. A search operation is continuing in the area to determine whether any terrorist elements are present, the sources added. Security forces and law enforcement agencies reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan and eliminating terrorism.
