KOHAT, 13 September 2026 (Kamran Raja): Unidentified armed men opened fire on the convoy of the Deputy Commissioner in the Rehmanabad area of Kohat district, following an operation against illegal gold mining in the area. Several vehicles in the convoy were damaged in the firing; however, no casualties were reported. The incident occurred after authorities conducted an operation against illegal mining activities in Rehmanabad.
