Pakistan’s first electric bus service will start in Karachi from today

Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced that the operations of People’s Electric Bus Service will be started from today.

According to the Minister of Transport, the first route of Pakistan’s first electric bus service is being started for the people of Karachi, the fare of which will be up to 50 rupees. He said that the electric bus will provide service from Jinnah Avenue Malir to Clock Tower, while passengers going to the airport can also benefit from the electric bus service.

He further said that the focus of the Sindh government is always on development and prosperity.
