Israel Again Threatens to Attack Iran

TEL AVIV, 30 August, 2026 (Nosheen): Israel has once again threatened to launch an attack on Iran, warning that it would target the country if Tehran develops nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles. According to Arab media, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen, in an interview with Israeli media, said Israel would carry out another attack on Iran if the country proceeds with the development of nuclear weapons or ballistic missile capabilities. Cohen said that even if Iran reaches an agreement with the United States, Israel would still attack if Tehran moves toward developing nuclear weapons. He warned that any attempt by Iran to restart its nuclear program would be targeted by Israel. The Israeli minister further claimed that Iran would have already acquired nuclear weapons had Israel not launched its previous attack. He said the US and Israeli strikes had pushed Iran’s nuclear program back by two to four years. The remarks come amid continued tensions over Iran’s nuclear program and growing regional security concerns. The United States and Israel launched an attack on Iran on February 28, 2026. According to Iranian reports, the strikes killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei along with several senior Iranian generals.
