KARACHI, 30 August, 2026 (Nosheen): The French Consulate in Karachi has been permanently closed, with the French Consulate formally announcing the decision. In a farewell message to the city, the French Consulate shared an “Au revoir Karachi” message, marking the end of its operations in the city. Following the closure, the French and European Union flags were removed from the consulate premises.The French Consulate also expressed its gratitude to its friends and partners in Karachi for their support and cooperation over the years.
