BAGH, 15 August, 2026 (Ghufran): The unofficial results for two constituencies in Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s Bagh division have been finalised following re-polling at 23 polling stations, with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) securing one seat each.PPP candidate Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar won constituency LA-15 Bagh-II, while PML-N candidate Sardar Mir Akbar Khan secured victory in LA-16 Bagh-III.In LA-15, the counting process was completed following re-polling at nine polling stations. Sardar Zia-ul-Qamar defeated his closest rival, PML-N candidate Raja Mushtaq Minhas, by a margin of 1,900 votes.

Before the re-polling, Zia-ul-Qamar was leading with 16,637 votes, while Raja Mushtaq Minhas had secured 15,015 votes.Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Brigadier (retd) Raja Muhammad Khan was in third position with more than 12,000 votes.A total of 5,032 voters were eligible to cast their ballots at the nine polling stations where re-polling was conducted.The results mark a closely contested electoral outcome in Bagh, with the PPP and PML-N each securing representation following the completion of the re-polling process.
