Ghanaian Delegation Explores Academic Collaboration Opportunities with Riphah International University


Islamabad, 14 August 2026(News Desk): A high-level delegation from Ghana visited Riphah International University, Islamabad, to explore new avenues of academic collaboration, research partnerships and institutional linkages between Pakistan and Ghana.

The visit highlighted the growing role of higher education institutions in strengthening international cooperation through knowledge exchange, research and innovation. Discussions focused on expanding collaboration in higher education, healthcare education, faculty engagement, student opportunities and joint research initiatives.

The Ghanaian delegation, comprising senior representatives from higher education institutions, was received by the leadership and officials of Riphah International University. During the visit, the delegation held detailed discussions with university leadership and explored Riphah’s academic ecosystem, professional programmes, research initiatives and healthcare facilities.

The meetings provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on areas of mutual interest, including academic partnerships, faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative research and the sharing of institutional expertise and experiences.

The delegation gained an overview of Riphah’s contributions to medical education, dental education, allied health sciences and other academic disciplines, while also observing its healthcare and professional training facilities.
