ISLAMABAD, 11 August, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani last night.During the conversation, Foreign Minister Al Zayani congratulated the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.Dr. Al Zayani also expressed his desire to visit Pakistan in the near future. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar warmly welcomed the Bahraini Foreign Minister’s intention to visit Pakistan and thanked him for his kind sentiments.Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as effective means to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.
