
LAHORE, 08 August, 2026 (Kamran Raja): The Anti-Corruption Circle Lahore of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has continued its crackdown against agent mafia and elements involved in electricity theft, arresting a woman allegedly operating an office providing Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) attestation services.During an operation in Gulberg, FIA officials arrested the woman, identified as Khadija Sameer, who was allegedly running an office dealing in MOFA attestation services. During the raid, documents related to MOFA apostille services were recovered and taken into custody. The action was carried out under FIA Anti-Corruption Circle case No. 42/26.In a separate operation, the FIA arrested a proclaimed offender allegedly involved in electricity theft. The suspect was identified as Parvez Ahmed, who had been wanted by the FIA since 2024. Further investigation into both cases is underway.
