Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Arrives in Madina, Offers Prayers for Pakistan and Muslim Ummah

Islamabad, 06 August 2026(Ghufran): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Madina Munawara, where he paid his respects at Masjid-e-Nabawi (ﷺ) and offered prayers.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar prayed for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as for the well-being and unity of the Muslim Ummah.

During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister also visited Jabal Uhud and paid his respects at the resting place of Hazrat Ameer Hamza (RA). He offered prayers for all the martyrs of the Battle of Uhud and remembered their sacrifices for Islam.

The visit reflects Pakistan’s deep spiritual and religious bond with the holy city of Madina and underscores the country’s continued commitment to Islamic values and solidarity with the Muslim world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Deputy Prime Minister’s prayers were dedicated to national stability, prosperity, and the welfare of Muslims across the world.
